Protecta Insurance at the 2015 Leadfoot Festival
Protecta's stand to host the NZHRA lottery car
Protecta Insurance will be at the 2015 Leadfoot Festival, an annual motorsport event held at Rod Millen's Leadfoot Ranch in Hahei.
The festival, which runs from the 6th to the 8th of February 2015, features an amazing array of high performance road and race cars competing in a hill climb style event. The drivers and vehicles are all hand-picked by Rod Millen himself, and the course is Millen's driveway on the 150-acre Leadfoot Ranch - a driveway specifically designed to form "the perfect hill climb".
The festival is famed for the atmosphere and the access that is provided to spectators. Guests can browse through the pits and get up close and personal with the competitors. Viewing the racing action from anywhere on the course is spectacular, and the vehicles competing represent the finest from all eras of motorsport. To add to the atmosphere, guests are encouraged to dress in period costume, and it really is a true family event.
Protecta is proud to be involved in this unique event, and honoured that the New Zealand Hot Rod Association have chosen our stand to display their lottery car for 2015. This 1936 Ford Sedan will be on our stand all weekend, so make sure you come up to say hi and check out this cool machine.
